We are creating this course for dietitians and nutrition professionals who want to add insurance to their practice and want support navigating a complex system.
The Insurance Course will Include:Â
- The pre-credentialing process
- How to decide which insurance companies to get credentialed with
- How to fill out the CAQH and apply for credentialing with insurance companies
- Verifying benefits
- Billing and coding instructions
- How to bill insurance from a weight-inclusive lens
- Setting up systems for billing and reimbursement
- Note templates and documentation guidelines
Plus, the course will be taught from a weight-inclusive, justice-informed lens by Jasmine Hormati, MS, RD and Alissa Rumsey, MS, RD. .
We will also have equity spots and payment plans available.
